At Sculpt, we believe movement feels better when you're surrounded by people who lift you up.

This is more than a room with reformers in it. It's a place to become part of something, a space that celebrates your progress whether you're arriving for your very first class or coming back for your weekly reset.

You'll be known here. That's the point.

A little bit about me

A little bit about me

Laura, founder of Sculpt Pilates studio

Hi Guys, I'm Laura

I'm the face behind Sculpt.

I've wanted to build this for a long time.

Not just a Pilates studio, but a proper safe space. Somewhere you can walk in on a Tuesday feeling completely wrung out and leave feeling like yourself again.

So Sculpt is small classes, natural light, instructors who know your name, and a room that's easy to walk into whether you've done reformer a hundred times or never at all.

I can't wait to meet you.

  • Build deep,functional strength

Strengthen your core, improve muscle balance and develop the kind of stability that supports every other thing you do.

  • Improve posture and alignment

Lengthen what's tight, correct what's imbalanced and build better postural habits that carry into daily life, with less tension and less discomfort.

  • Reduce stress and find clarity

Focused breathwork and mindful movement calm the nervous system, giving you an hour where nothing else needs your attention.

  • Move well for longer

Low impact, high control. Reformer work builds strength without loading your joints, which makes it something you can keep doing for decades.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is Reformer Pilates?

Reformer Pilates is done on a sliding carriage that runs on springs, rather than on a mat. The springs give you resistance and support at the same time, which means you can work properly hard without loading your joints. It looks more intimidating than it is. Your instructor sets everything up for you and talks you through it.

  • I'm new to Pilates. Can I join your classes?

Absolutely, and most people walking through our door for the first time are in exactly the same boat. Start with Sculpt Foundation if you'd like to learn the basics first, or Sculpt Signature if you'd rather dive in. Just mention it's your first time when you arrive and we'll look after you. Classes are small specifically so nobody gets left behind.

  • When should I arrive?

If you are a regular, please arrive 5 minutes prior to the class so that we can start on time. If you are coming to your first class, please arrive 5-10 minutes before for an introduction to your instructor, the studio and our Reformer bed.

  • What if I’m running late?

For health and safety reasons, if you are more than 5 minutes late for a class our instructors won’t be able to let you in. Please note that if there is a waitlist client waiting and you are more than 5 minutes late, your spot may be released to them.

  • Can Reformer Pilates help with pre or post natal fitness?

Yes. Reformer work is one of the better options during pregnancy and for rebuilding afterwards, because it's low impact and endlessly adaptable. We'll need clearance from your midwife or GP, and please tell us your stage when you book so your instructor can plan properly. Postnatally that's usually after your six week check. We're used to modifying for diastasis recti and we won't rush you.

  • What should I wear to a Reformer Pilates class?

Leggings or shorts and a fitted top that won't fall over your face when you're upside down. Grip socks are required, for grip and hygiene. We sell them at reception and we'll lend you a pair if you forget your first time. Bring water. Everything else is here.

  • How often should I attend to see results?

Twice a week is the sweet spot for most people, and you'll usually notice the difference in how you move within four to six weeks. Once a week absolutely still works, it just takes a little longer. Consistency matters far more than intensity here.

  • Do you offer flexible booking options?

Yes. You can book a single class, buy a class pack of 4, 8 or 12, or take a monthly membership. Memberships run on a 3 month rolling contract with 30 days' notice to cancel. If you're brand new, our intro offer gives you 3 classes for £45.

  • What makes Sculpt different from other Pilates studios in Nottingham?

Three things. Classes are kept small, so you get real corrections rather than general cues. We're four minutes from the station, which makes us genuinely doable before work or on the way home. And the room has been designed to feel calm and welcoming rather than clinical. No strip lighting, no wall of mirrors, no one shouting.

  • Are your Pilates classes suitable for men?

Yes, and we'd love to see more of you. Reformer work is brilliant alongside running or lifting. It targets the stabilisers, hips and mobility work that most training programmes skip, and it's the reason a lot of recurring injuries stop recurring.

  • How do I claim my 50% discount?

Join our mailing list before we open and we'll email you a 50% off code.

  • Where are you, and is there parking?

We're at Crocus Street, Nottingham, NG2 3D, a four minute walk from Nottingham station, so the train and tram both drop you close to the door. We also offer on-site parking that is free for 2 hours.

  • Can I cancel my class?

You can cancel your class on the app. We have a 12-hour cancellation policy for classes to ensure someone else has the chance to take your spot. If you cancel outside of this window, you will lose your class credit.
